Who We Are

Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories (CCIL) is a federally incorporated, non-profit organization that represents independent, tax-paying professional firms engaged in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, analytical testing and conformity assessment. CCIL is the pre-eminent association for independent laboratories. We accomplish this by ensuring high standards of excellence and ethical business practices, and by acting as the advocacy voice for the industry.

CCIL members are tax-paying business entities, unaffiliated with any academic or governmental institutions or with any outside industrial company or trade group which in any manner might affect the firm's ability to conduct investigations, render reports or give professional counsel objectively and without bias.
