Asphalt Labs

The Asphalt Laboratory Certification Program was initiated by the CCIL in response to industry needs, and to provide an independent assurance of competence in conducting Marshall and Superpave test procedures. The program is actively supported by the participation of the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) and the Ontario Hot Mix Producers Association (OHMPA).

The on-site part of the program consists of two phases, namely, an inspection of the laboratory and an evaluation of the technician(s) who will carry out the required tests. It is a requirement that for a laboratory to be certified, it must have at least one CCIL Certified asphalt technician on staff.

Following are the lists of ALL CCIL Asphalt Certified Laboratories for 2008. The first list is the list of CCIL Member Laboratories immediately followed by the List of all OHMPA member labs, then by the Government labs and the Other labs (not CCIL member or OHMPA Member). We suggest that you periodically check this list for additions/deletions/changes to these lists.
