CCIL Welcomes Alnoor (Al) Nathoo As New Executive Director

Toronto (December 1, 2021) – The Board of Directors of the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories (CCIL) is pleased to announce that Alnoor (Al) Nathoo has been appointed Executive Director of the organization, effective December 1.

Al Nathoo, P. Eng., is a materials engineering consultant with over 40 years of professional experience specializing in the evaluation of asphaltic concrete, Portland cement concrete and other construction materials.

Al has been an active participant in CCIL and previously the Canadian Testing Association (CTA). He has served on the CCIL Board of CCIL for over 20 years, including two years as President. He also served as CCIL’s Executive Director from 2017 to 2019.

Al was also Vice President and Secretary Treasurer of CCIL, Chair of the CCIL / Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) Liaison Committee, and Chair of the CTA Asphalt Certification Program Administration Committee.
