Manitoba Environmental Industries Association receives CCIL Leadership Award

Winnipeg, Manitoba (July 21,2025) – Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA), a provincial private sector association was selected as a recipient of a 2025 Leadership Award by the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories (CCIL).
The CCIL Leadership Award was established in 2014 to recognize any government agency, association, organization, or individual that has made a positive contribution towards the environment, testing industry or any humanitarian cause.
Since 1991, the MEIA has served as a provincial hub for innovation, education, and collaboration in environmental and clean technology industries. MEIA provides members with customized high-quality training and professional development, a conduit for industry networking and collaboration, an industry resource for government policy, legislation and regulatory changes, they advocate for the development and adoption of innovative environmental technologies and they offer members access to research, best practices and industry news. The organization also supports a student chapter that connects students with industry professionals.
MEIA’s comprehensive approach combines education, innovation, policy advocacy, and workforce development to ensure visionary leadership while driving environmental sustainability. Their ability to mobilize stakeholders, foster talent, and drive clean technology adoption places them as a model organization worthy of industry recognition.
The Leadership Award was presented to staff and Board of Directors of MEIA by Trevor Gluck, CEO of CCIL and was received by Jack Winram, President and CEO of MEIA and Patrick Campbell, President of the MEIA Board of Directors.
